Aaron's pictures are kind of messy but organized and rational at the same time. Even though his pictures are resting, but they make you feel like they are moving. Also, black and white is the best expression form of objects, because you won't be fooled by the color. You can tell the shapes of the objects by the shadows, and picture the objects in your head.

Diptych

-The weather was so cold, but in the past several days, it's getting warm. That's how I get the concept of winter-summer diptych. Snow is perfect to represent winter, while sunshine and green tree are represented the summer. The first picture was taken in Lake Tahoe a month ago. The winter time of Tahoe is snowing so hard and freezing, people who live in Tahoe would rather staying at home and watching TV instead of going outside and taking pictures and have fun. But staying indoor is not for visitors! We went to the mountain to ski, and it was so much fun. Especially we live in bay area, it's so warm all the time. We love snow, but we love sunshine and beach too. The summertime of Tahoe is absolutely like the hot California weather. People relaxing on the beach and playing around with water. After the summer trip to Tahoe, you can proudly go home with your tanned skin!

Composition

-This picture is eye catching to the viewer due to the smoke and the rough floor. I think strong composition picture has strong contrast. No matter it is black and white or colorful, strong color contrast can always capture your eye.

-This picture has strong contrast colors - yellow and blue, black and white. And I keep the picture simple because I want the viewers to focus on the main theme of the picture. The 1/3 place of a picture is always a good position for what you are trying to focus on.
